Happy 40th, Mom and Dad B!!

Last weekend we pulled one over on my MIL and FIL. They thought they were coming to the American Legion for an awards ceremony for my BIL Paul. Little did they know that their kids had been planning a surprise 40th wedding anniversary party for them since November of last year! Friends and family came in from far and wide and a good time was had by all. May we all be so lucky to make it through 40 years together with our spouses and manage not to take the other's head off (and they made it through raising 10 kids too)!

SURPRISE!! Despite all our worries that someone would spill the beans, Mom and Dad were clearly shocked that the party they were there for was for them!
